GEOS Christchurch School Activities

Experience the pleasures of Christchurch and the South Island through our regular
school activities. GEOS Christchurch provides a variety of activities such as Free
English lessons every Monday and Thursday, movie nights, sport afternoons, dance
parties, adventure activities, and weekend trips around the South Island. There are
lots to enjoy!

An example of after-school activities on a typical week:

• Monday: Free English Lesson
• Tuesday: Movie and popcorn
• Wednesday: Sports activities such as Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis, and Basketball etc.
• Thursday: Free English Lesson
• Friday: Afternoon activities such as canoeing, BBQ, ice-skating, going to a pub, etc.
• Weekend: Trips to Kaikoura, Mt Cook, Hamner Springs, Rock Climbing, Cycling tours, etc.

GEOS Christchurch Student Service - Welcome to GEOS Christchurch!

At GEOS Christchurch, all the members of the student service department are willing to offer their assistance to students in order to enhance the quality of their stay in Christchurch.

We provide assistance in the areas of academic support, accommodation arrangement, and transportation from and to the airport, free school activities, immigration related issues, and multi-lingual counseling services for any issues that students may face.

Graduation at GEOS Christchurch

On every student’s last day at GEOS Christchurch they are presented with their graduation certificate and a progress report.

These detail the student’s level of English, the dates and length of study, and the student’s progress during their course.

They also get a class photo attached to a card where all classmates write a line or two so that they can take their memories back home with them.
